BEL GmbH wurde 1964 in Bozen gegründet. Zwei italienische Unternehmer nutzten Ihre Erfahrung in der Vertriebsbranche, um Produkte und Ausrüstungen für die Verpackung, die Produktwerbung und die Etikettierung zu liefern. Im Laufe der Jahre ist der Name BEL zu einem Synonym von Flexibilität und Qualität der Etiketten in der Lebensmittelbranche geworden: namhafte nationale und internationale Unternehmen zählen zu den treuen Kunden der Südtiroler Firma.

Die Firma verfügt heute über ein neues Werk mit einer überdachten Fläche von etwa 10.000 qm, und eine Photovoltaik-Anlage mit 90 kWp.
